Unmasking Ishmael Omondi-the man running AL SHABAAB account(HSMPRESS)

The Inspector
General of Police, David Kimaiyo, has
confirmed the name of a man who has
been operating @HSMPress purportedly
used by Al Shabaab to claim responsibility
of various attacks in

Kenya with the latest
being the Mpeketoni massacre.
In a press conference on Wednesday,
Kimaiyo named Ishmael Omondi as the
man who has been operating the account
that has been purportedly used by AL
Shabaab to claim responsibility for attacks
in Kenya.
Kimaiyo said the man who is from Luo
Nyanza is under police custody and he will
be interrogated to provide information on
who he is working for.
Police sources said Omondi has been
working with a group of politicians to
distabilize the country and the politicians
will also be arrested.
Omondi is also said to have even attended
CORD rally at Tononoka Grounds in
Mombasa on Saturday.
This corroborates Mutahi Ngunyi’s
assertion that the Mpeketoni terror attack
was not Al Shabaab but politically
motivated killings.
“Al Shabaab claim of Mpeketoni is FAKE.
End of Discussion,” Mutahi Ngunyi said on
Tuesday.
